Hours before their mother’s funeral, the Yeung siblings gather in the family home for the first time in years, only to discover their inheritance is missing. Julie, the daughter of the island’s British Governor, crashes the servant’s party downstairs. What starts as a game descends into a fight for survival as sex, power, money and race collide on a hot night in the Pearl River Delta.

British-Hong Kong playwright Amy Ng has adapted this thrilling psychological Strindberg classic into a newly politically-charged production.

Commissioned as part of Storyhouse's Season 11 of original drama, Miss Julie is revived for a UK tour by New Earth Theatre and Storyhouse.
