Shakespeare and Race: The Future We Make celebrates the creativity and innovation of artists, researchers and young people of the global majority.
A sexy horror rom-com exploring what takes root in the space between superstition and rationality. Starring Olivier Award nominee Mei Mac, The Hungry Ghost is the debut play from Mei Leng Yew, directed by New Earth Theatre Artistic Director Ailin Conant.
We are thrilled to share that Grace Ng, who leads Horizons Collective, has secured funding through Arts Council England’s Theatre Breakthrough Fund (North)!
As part of the New Earth Writers UK Academy Plus this year, we are holding table read events in London, Manchester and Birmingham to allow the writers in the 2026-27 Academy Plus cohort a chance to hear their plays aloud and have a discussion with their peers following the reading of the plays.
Internationally-acclaimed artist and writer Selina Thompson will deliver a free theatre-making workshop on 21st September, which is all about having a series of commitments both aesthetic and political that ground your project.
