Nyanna Bentham-Prince (also known as Nia) is an emerging theatre producer of Black Caribbean British descent. She has studied BA (Hons) Creative Writing and Classical Studies at the Open University and a diploma course in Makeup Artistry with the Institute of Makeup Artistry (IMUA).
From her very first producing experience at Sutton House, Nia’s long-term goal is to start a heritage-based theatre and events company that will produce works on popular or unheard historic episodes, people, and topics to highlight the importance of conveying a diverse collection of stories to add depth and value to our cultural framework by ensuring diverse representations and dispelling harmful misconceptions.
She has previously worked for organisations including the National Trust, Southbank Centre, Theatre503 and Barbican Centre.
